    Pulled up the 1986 German book with “Unheard Warnings” by Johann Phillip Freiherr von Bethmann, Auf Inflation folgt Deflation.

    Von Bethmann, heir of a Frankfurt banking institution, highlights fundamental flaws in monetarism, that appear plausible, yet confuse causes and effects.

    Check for yourself, which is correct?
